Important instructions
*Timing*
Chairs and Authors are asked to reach the relevant aula 10 minutes before the start of the relevant session. The room assistant will help the Authors to up-load their ppt on the room computer.
Every slot lasts exactly 30 minutes. This means:
- 2 minutes for change of speaker and room migration
- max 23 minutes for the presentation
- 5 minutes for discussion (possibly more, if the presentation has lasted less than 23 minutes).
In no case the speaker will be allowed to invade the following slot: the session Chair (or the WS Organizers) will see to it that this will not happen, because the exact synchronism among the parallel sessions will have to be maintained throughout.
Authors who will prefer to use their own computer can do so at their own risk. Any minute lost for compatibility problems with the projector (something we all experienced at least once in our conference life) will be detracted from the total time allotted.
*Presentation details*
It is highly recommended to have both a *ppt* AND a *pdf* version of one's presentation, to overcome possible font problems or any other inconvenience.
*Hand-outs*: no photocopy will be done during the conference. Authors who wish to distribute their own hand-out must carry the copies with themselves. We have no exact estimate on how many copies are needed. Considering that we expect to have close to 200 participants and that there will be 6 parallel sessions, 60 copies might be on the safe side.
