INFORMATION FOR POSTER PRESENTERS
WORKSHOP ON
AUTOMATIC VOWEL ANALYSIS
The workshop will host a high-profile poster session to complement the oral presentations given by the invited speakers. We therefore invite the submission of abstracts for poster presentations related to the workshop theme. A very limited number of proposals, deemed as particularly promising and suitable to the event, will be selected from among the group of submitted abstracts and the authors requested to present their papers orally, within the main session.
Anonymous abstracts should be submitted as .pdf, .doc or .docx files at the following address sociophonetics@sns.it. We encourage the submission of abstracts in English, but French and Italian are also allowed.
PDF files are the safest means of submission, as fonts and figures are more likely to be preserved. The text should be no longer than 800 words excluding tables, figure captions and bibliography. All the relevant information (text of the abstract, figures, tables, references) should not exceed 2 pages (A4 format). Abstracts should not contain author information, addresses, or affiliations.
